Pink Floyd mastermind Roger Waters caught the Zzzz train Saturday while passing through lower Manhattan.
The 75-year-old rocker was spotted nodding off while waiting for his stop on the uptown 6 subway line. He also petted what appeared to be a service dog during his commute.
Passengers came and went, mostly without noticing the bass-playing songwriter, who was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
Despite splitting from Pink Floyd in 1985, Waters has continued playing hits from his former band like “Another Brick in the Wall,” “Mother” and “Money” since he began touring exclusively as a solo artist in 1999.

No one could identify him yet someone took a picture and someone else wrote an article about it?
Well said Martin. Typical click bait type article from non journalists.
You are spot on…
It’s funny how the other articles I’ve read state that Waters’ solo career began in 1999. Like pop-up ducks at the shooting gallery.
I saw him on the radio kaos tour back in the late eighties. he was great when we didn’t know what a hate filled tool he really is. I wouldn’t give him a dime now, we’re through.
Actually it was while he was doing his “Radio K. A. O. S.” tour that I found out how very small he was, since I was made out to be a villain while he was posturing as an anti-nuke activist. When I saw him at Madison Square Garden on August 26, 1987, he aimed a spotlight at me because my assignment in the military had been to provide security for nukes. The videos during the show depicted reaction forces in pickup trucks, so it was obvious he had taken aim at me for something that happened a couple years prior to the show, when there were demonstrations outside the fence of Seneca Army Depot in upstate N. Y. But if you’ve seen “Pink Floyd; The Wall (A Film By Roger Waters),” it becomes obvious that he had woman issues, and his phony
activism is only a front which he uses to mask all his deficiencies along with the many threats he issued in his music to keep his wives from disclosing his wretchedness. It’s the same with his B. D. S. activism. He needs to deflect attention toward an alleged villain so that people won’t notice his character deformations.
firstly, thank you for your service. secondly, I was at that same show. I was just a kid, one who wasn’t too aware of the world’s problems at that point. I didn’t even notice that he showed the Seneca army depot. I was born in Seneca falls and passed that base constantly. there was always some kind of protest there(mostly women) when I was a kid. you served there? only place in the world where previously normal deer developed into white deer(not albino). I used to love looking for them when I passed the base. have a great day. I plan to think very little about the rogers of the world today, if possible.
Wow! Yes it was beautiful country and when I listen to the introduction to “A Momentary Lapse of Reason” on the song “Signs of Life” it always takes me back to that time on base where there was a pond which had a rowboat that the soldiers could use for free. It’s like hallowed ground for me not unlike “Grantchester Meadows” in the U. K.
I still visit relatives up there a time or two a year. nice place to visit. sounds like a cool base memory. small world for sure. have a great day!
“Have a nice day.” ?
Actually, he began touring as a solo artist in 1985 and he performed those 3 above mentioned songs during his 1987 tour (at least, that’s what was on the setlist for his concert at the Meadowlands on Nov 4, 1987). As for me, I wasn’t about to let the thugs he had recruited from New Jersey at the time make me a cripple, preferring instead to become a no-good vagabond (“call me what you will”). Now he’s the one who looks like a scraggly-ass!
I’m glad to see him out living his life. David just sits in his boat all day flagging my cover versions…
Good thing my PF covers are buried in the algorithm. ?
That is a hilarious portrayal of a rock icon being so petty and stingy, but I remember an article on Billboard’s website a few years ago which mentioned Waters signing a pact with BMG to catalog his share in Pink Floyd’s music legacy. It was after this acquisition of copyrighted material that all those videos were yanked off the internet. I bet I know who the real miser is.
F this anti semite.
Why this turd would show his ugly mug in public during an anti-Semitic zombie apocalypse is beyond me.
Go kys maggot
you first
As much as I don’t like the fact that Waters broke up Pink Floyd it’s sad nobody recognized him. They were the leading rock band of the 1960s & 70s when music was really great
I’m sure he was very content to sit there in anonymity without any mewling maggots fawning all over him.
