During a recent episode of Rock Talk With Mitch Lafon, Gene Simmons commented about the idea of KISS making another studio album:

“I am sour on the whole idea because I don’t wanna work my ass off for fans to decide to download and file share. There’s no incent there for me whatsoever.
“Kiss is not a charity, although I give to charity a lot. But I’ll decide. I suspect what you do for living you get paid. And I don’t want anybody to determine ‘Oh, you have enough money.’ You know what? I’ll determine what that is.
[metalwani_content_ad]“So, the incentive to do a new album… I write songs all the time, but maybe the old-fashioned way of doing it with all the Downloading and file sharing… Not interested the least.”
