KISS frontman Paul Stanley lashed out at Marilyn Manson for “connecting himself to the news of a murdering scumbag’s death” after Marilyn shared his cover of a Charles Manson track soon after the cult leader’s death was announced.
The song in question “Sick City,” which Marilyn originally released on Valentine’s Day while promoting 2000’s “Holy Wood.”

Stanley’s comment reads:
“Pathetic when somebody [whose] career never really took off is desperate enough to try for publicity by connecting himself to the news of a murdering scumbag’s death.”
As you may or may not know, the name Marilyn Manson came to be as a combination of Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson.
