According to new research conducted by Skiddle – which inquired 1,200 people between 16 and 30 years old – 73% of young concertgoers think that phones should not be banned during live shows.
When the remaining 27% was asked on why they think phones should not be allowed, 37% of them said that phones are distracting to them, 34% said phones reduce the quality of concert experience, while 8% said filming is disrespectful to the artist.
As Music Radar reports, more than half of the 73% said they film concerts so they can relive the experience after the event. Additionally, about a quarter of them likes to share their clips via social media.
