Nobody associated with AC/DC has confirmed there will be another album from the band, whose membership has gone through significant shake-ups during the past three years.

But a new report from Australia’s Noise11.com speaks about a follow-up to 2014’s Rock Or Bust as a definite, although it “won’t be ready until 2018” because of Axl Rose‘s touring commitments this year with Guns N’ Roses.
The site writes that “the chemistry between Axl Rose and Angus Young has inspired Angus to start planning another AC/DC record;” Rose joined AC/DC for European and American tours in 2016 after singer Brian Johnson was sidelined by doctor’s orders due to hearing issues.
Noise11 also writes that “as all of the AC/DC shows were filmed it is possible fans may be treated to a live album with Rose…prior to the new studio album.”

Rose, of course, won’t be the only change in AC/DC’s lineup from Rock or Bust: bassist Cliff Williams retired from the band at the end of the Rock Or Bust Tour last fall; and it’s not clear if drummer Chris Slade will remain on the roster or if Phil Rudd, sidelined by legal problems after Rock Or Bust was released, will return.
