Tone Deaf reports that Metallica is set to release a 12-song live acoustic album titled “Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic at The Masonic” on February 1, 2019.

The record will be released for charity, featuring footage from the band’s November 3 rare acoustic set at San Francisco’s Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium. It was recorded by Jason Gossman, mixed by Greg Fidelman, and mastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering.
The gig featured Cage the Elephant as the opening band and helped raise $1.3 million.
