Queen axeman Brian May has shared a new statement after the terror attack on mosques in New Zealand.
Brian posted a supportive message on Instagram. He wrote:
“Horrified and saddened to hear of the awful shootings in Christchurch. We stand by our peaceful friends in New Zealand, and against all violence, in this painful time.”
He further added:
“Just to be clear, this is a picture of a gun in the hands of the police who attended the scene. Whilst this user is a peacemaker, to me, a gun is a symbol of the sickness that now grips the world. Bri.”
A fan responded to Brian as follows:
“Thank you so much for acknowledging this matter against Muslims. This act of terror has inflicted fear on many people in Christchurch including myself. We have never gone through something like this before.”
Another fan from New Zealand wrote:
“My heart aches for the victims and my country. I am devastated and at a loss to understand this vile act against NZ , as we are one. As they weep I weep”
