AC/DC’s longtime engineer Mike Fraser has confirmed that the group has been in the studio “doing something.”
As reported, the surviving members of classic-lineup AC/DC are rumored to be recording a new album. The speculation began after singer Brian Johnson, drummer Phil Rudd, as well as guitarists Angus Young and Stevie Young and Mr. Fraser, were photographed outside Warehouse Studios in Vancouver.
Asked by Tony Mantz if the rumors are true and that another AC/DC album is under construction, Mike replied (via Blabbermouth):
“Umm… Well, yeah, I could say that we’ve been in the studio doing something. What’s come of that I can’t discuss yet, but uh…”
With Brian singing?
“I think so. [Laughs]”
