Ex-Van Halen member Sammy Hagar wrote a recent tweet and shared a photo on his verified Twitter account.
Hagar revealed an untold story about how he felt embarrassed in front of 80,000 people because he was mistaken for The Who singer Roger Daltrey backstage.
Here is what he wrote:
“1973 in London at the Charlton Festival opening for The Who. 80,000 people, my first big one.
Bad Company also made their debut that day, and also on the bill was Humble Pie and Lou Reed. Walking around backstage earlier everyone thought that I was Roger Daltrey ha ha!”
