Here we are in 2019 eagerly looking ahead to the promising albums in metal from some of the most popular bands in the genre. There are here to surprise you with their scintillating music. 2018 has been a great year for a number of stellar releases by up-and-coming and underground acts, 2019 is expected to be bigger as the big guns are arriving with new music.
The year has just begun, but we’re already chomping at the bit for what 2019 will bring in terms of heavy music and look ahead to the enjoying the games at live casinos.
Bands who have been releasing albums regularly throughout the years are plotting new discs in 2019, among them Megadeth, Lamb of God, and Slipknot, to name a few.
Lamb of God
Lamb of God has been killing it, and they’ll continue to do so in 2019 as well. As such, the band has been working on new music, with fans hopeful that a new disc will come out sometime around the end of this year. The Richmond, Virginia, metal act was able to tide fans over in 2018 with a disc of cover tunes.
Megadeth
After the disaster of the 2013 album Super Collider, Megadeth rebounded with the brilliant success of 2016’s Dystopia, which earned the metal stalwarts their first-ever Grammy. It is now likely that the band is intent on matching or besting their previous effort. It is expected that 2019 will be a big year for Megadeth, regardless, as they open for Ozzy Osbourne on the next leg of his North American tour and headline their own high-seas adventure, MegaCruise, in October.
Rammstein
It has been 10 years since Rammstein last released a new studio album and graced us with new music. The band has long been hailed as one of heavy music’s greatest live acts, but guitarist Richard Kruspe wants to be recognized for their studio work, as well. The lead artist has also revealed that the album can be anticipated in April.
Slipknot
The masked marauders have made a living of creating extreme music while appealing to masses of fans. Their album isn’t expected until the summer, though the band gifted fans with the first single, “All Out Life”, on Halloween day. The album has been revealed as centring around an “evil vs. good” theme.
Tool
The next disc from Tool, which is being anticipated from long is also the most awaited album of the decade in the world of heavy music. Fans have been looking forward to the band’s newest release for quite a few years now since Tool released their first album. It looks like 2019 will finally be the year in which it will actually happen. Even the usually enigmatic Maynard James Keenan offered long-suffering fans hope when he tweeted about progress on the album in September, ending with the hashtags “#Tool #2019.” The band has kept fans waiting for thirteen years and it is most likely that their new release will blow over the minds of fans.
