As announced recently, The Black Crowes are reuniting after a long time.
The band is slated to play the iconic album “Shake Your Money Maker” in its entirety.
Today the band announced a new lineup for the tour.
Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson will be joined by guitarist Isiah Mitchell, bassist Tim LeFebvre, keyboardist Joel Robinow and drummer Ojha.
The lineup looks different than what it was when the band went on hiatus.
Chris Robinson says of reuniting:
“I’m thrilled and blessed to be playing with my brother celebrating the music we’ve made and bringing our lives together full circle. Long live rock n’ roll and THE BLACK CROWES!”
Rich Robinson adds:
“First and foremost, I’m really happy to have my brother back in my life. To be able to play music again together and celebrate the first record we made as kids is a gift. To have these songs stand up after 30 years is something I could’ve never fathomed.”

I wish Mike and Marc could be part of this potentially great reunion, but so be it. If Chris and Rich can pull this off– without punching each other’s lights out (coughNoelandLiamcough)–and if Chris still has the voice to belt out those killer songs, then we could have one hell of a party to look forward to. ✌?
