ABC7 reports that several stolen items of Randy Rhoads memorabilia that went missing during the Musonia School of Music burglary this Thanksgiving were found in a local dumpster in North Hollywood.
The school was founded more than 70 years ago by Randy’s mother, Delores Rhoads. Local resident Bobbi Fredriksz stated that she spotted a guitar and photos in a dumpster as she was walking her dog early Sunday morning (November 8).
She didn’t react initially until she read a report about the theft online. Fredriksz commented:
“As I was laying in bed, not feeling well, when it came on I was, like, ‘Wait a minute. Oh my God!’ I ran all the way back over here it was still here. Somebody else started to see it and called the police.”
Among the stolen items is the first electric guitar Randy ever played, a Harmony Rocket from 1963, and two horns that belonged to his late mother.
Ozzy Osbourne has personally offered a $25,000 reward for any critical info that would result in the return of the stolen items.
