As coronavirus is making an impact on countless industries, including the music industry, we’re seeing entire regions and countries getting under lockdown all over the world.
Italy has taken drastic measures a few days ago, putting its citizens under a national quarantine.
Their movement is restricted, and people are allowed to go outside their homes only for work and basic necessities.
However, as NME reports, Italian citizens have found a way to keep their spirits up. Since they’re not allowed out of their homes, they began singing and performing music from their windows and balconies.
Quite a few videos surfaced online with people all over Italy singing in unision with their neighbours, blasting music on full volume, or just playing their instruments. You can find some of the footages below.
