With Ozzy Osbourne recovering from his health issues and even released an album titled ‘Ordinary Man’, fans are wondering what’s coming next.
While touring seems to be no option, there has been a confirmation from his wife Sharon Osbourne that Ozzy is already working on another album with producer Andrew Watt.
This happened on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast.
When asked about his health, Sharon said:
“He’s doing good. He’s doing really, really good. He’s had a terrible, terrible injury. At one point, they thought he would never walk again, but he is, he’s walking, he’s doing great. He’s been hit by so much medically, but he’s doing good. He’s getting stronger every day.”
Sharon continues:
“Oh, God. I mean, to be hit with the spinal injury, and then what it had done was, it kind of started off the Parkinson’s that he had the gene for but was never activated, he just had the gene. It’s like having the breast cancer gene but it never comes into fruition, it never gets alive. And he had the Parkinson’s gene and this accident just sparked it off. So he kind of had a double dose of everything. But he’s doing good.”
Mrs O. adds:
“It’s heartbreaking… it’s heartbreaking to see this. He’s had this ride in his life, and then suddenly… boom. And like… you are floored. And to have your health taken away? No matter what you’ve got money-wise or anything in the world, can’t fix.”
Steve-O then mentions that Ozzy is still thriving in his career, to which Sharon responds:
“Oh my God! What about his album (Ordinary Man)? I mean, just incredible. The album was sensational. He’s starting his second album with Andrew Watt right now, and… you can’t stop him, he’s doing it.
“Ozzy says that as far as performing goes, he has to end it his way. Because it was his farewell tour that he was on, but he still had a year to do of that tour, and there were seats sold for the next year, but, you know, the accident stopped it all. But he said it’s not gonna end just like that… it’s gonna end his way. And he’s gonna go back out. And even if it’s just one huge show to say goodbye, he’s going to do it.”

I’m 55 and seen Ozzy a few times the man puts on one hell of a show, Rock on forever Ozzy love you brother been a fan since the first sabbath album think I was 8, amazing career.
I am 54 and have been lucky to see Ozzy twice!! Once in 1984 and in October of 2018 and that man is amazing!!! He has such an amazing voice and puts in 120% to make his fans happy! I would love to see him one last time!! Ozzy you are so gifted and a great man!!
I was fortunate enough to see Ozzy with Randy Rhoads back in February 1982. It remains my favorite show I’ve seen. I hope to see Ozzy one more time before he’s finished.
I saw too at Rosemont just before Randy died. Best show ever. I got up to the front row. Nothing compares
???
He should have said Goodbye 20 years ago
Health wise, yes. Rock stars don’t retire very often. They should, but they’re always driven to go higher
?
Amen. Time to go.
?
Ozzy doesn’t need to tour anymore! Enjoy retirement with family!
I went to his farewell tour. In july 1992
Ozzy don’t really have to do tours. I mean he is big enough in his music his albums will always sell even without a tour.
Ozzy is the guru of Rock and Roll, Metal, and music period. His career can not be achieved by anyone as he has defined the eras of 1960’s thru the present! His bandmates are all legends as well that is why they play with him. I’ve seen him live 4 times. 1st was monster of rock in the late 80’s then 3 different Ozzfests with the last one being free at Fidlers Green in Denver, Colorado; at that show he played with a blood clot in his leg and he played until he couldn’t no more and was rushed immediately to the hospital. The band’s jumped at chances to tour Ozzfests which gave fans like myself to see so many great artists and rock out to a full day and not a mere 2 hours! Proving he is the one and only Guru.
His time to retire should be on his terms with his health and family being the primary priority! “Let’s Rock and Roll!” Ozzy Rules!!!!!!
?
Ozzy is God of Rock & Roll
Funny how it’s never Farewell or Final til they milked every last drop out of the fans. Last time I saw him he reminded me of a marionette- Sharon pulling the strings.
Never say die
If he throws another concert anywhere in the US please somebody let me know or put it on Facebook my name on FB is (Glenn Fritzinger) I will be there with horns ablaze ????
Rock on ozzy do what u want to do you deserve that f…. the hatters
This man deserves nothing but the upmost respect. I just can’t believe the negative bullshit that I am reading through all these comments. He has touched generations from my father, to me, and to my 20 year old son who has been listening to him since he was born and still has his vinyl records from Black Sabbath on a 1969 record player which he prefers because the music sounds so much better. This man has been through hell and back that’s why he is the Prince of darkness ? and Mrs Sharon Osbourne who needs no introduction has been a godsent to him because of all the trials and tribulations this man has been through she has helped him through them all, with the death of his best friend Randy rhoads and all of his drug and alcohol addictions that he is had. And this woman has stood by him through it all so, for people to say that she’s behind pulling his strings is absolutely atrocious. I vote Sharon Osbourne as president. If I could have one wish in this world it would be to meet them both shake their hands and say thank you for all the greatness you have done with your music and your contributions to the music industry. ???
Yeah Ozzy is the man
#OZZY 4 PRESIDENT we as fans should and tell him we love him and his health is more important than him getting out there and getting worse..i rather see him ALIVE !! Of course i would love to see him in cocert but i just want him to be healthy.. yes i would love to see him live on stage.. i want to take my 71/2 ye old daughter.. i named her after Ozzy. He and Mrs. Sharon saved my life..and if not for them. i wouldn’t be around to have my daughter. OZZLYNN Grace Thank yall so much hopefully one day we can meet yall and meet the OzzLynn lol Love yall
I was diagnosed 3 years ago with Parkinson’s disease. My case is considered mild though. Good luck to you Ozzy. You’ve been an inspiration and still continue to be.
Ozzy I love you and always will. Please if
you come to the u.s. be as close as you can to Virginia I will be there with bells on honey. You need to keel so we can see you your health is more important always. I have been diagnosed with neuropathy and always in chronic pain I have also had neck and lower back surgery so I know what you’re going through. Please heal quickly and take care. Love always Mary McCormack
I have some good news tho. If Ozzy keeps crushing it and staying alive and well he might get a treatment. About a month ago an accidental discovery cured Parkinsons in mice. And the news gets better: it’s actually a one-time treatment which generates new neurons, completely eliminates Parkinson’s disease. Now, researchers ofc will be able to make a cure for humans. It’s gonna take some time but If Ozzy keeps kicking, he will be able to get it and he will be literally the luckiest person in the world. That man literally can’t die?
You can search “worldhealth.net Parkinson’s decease cured in mice” and read it. I’m not able to link it.
