Bass player Nikki Sixx posted a picture on his Instagram page where he shared Motley Crue’s debut album cover ‘Too Fast For Love’.
In the picture, he stated that he remembers the day they recorded the album which apparently includes damaging brain cells.
Here is what Sixx said:
“I remember the day we cut this album live off the floor in Los Angeles. Great memories and some damaged brain cells too: -Repost from Mötley Crüe
Nov 10th, 1981 – Celebrating the 39th anniversaryof our debut album ‘Too Fast For Love’
The black and white album cover pictured here with the smaller logo is the first edition which was released on our own label ‘Leathür Records.’
Anyone who has heard this version will know it’s a completely different recording. The Elektra Records reissue with the red logo is the remixed and standard version. It features a different track listing and was released on August 20, 1982.”
