Singer Dee Snider tweeted about disco music that influenced rock music, where he also mentioned that Kiss didn’t stay true to rock with their classic song ”I Was Made For Loving You.”
Snider tweeded the following:
“People don’t understand. To be a rocker in the mid-70s in the face of the disco onslaught you had to literally fight for your right to rock. The whole SMF thing came from disco boys calling us sick mutha f**kers like it was bad. Twisted Sister took it as a badge of honor!”
A fan replied back to his tweet:
“At least Kiss stayed true to Hard Rock!”, where Snider replied back: “With the exception of ‘I Was Made for Loving You,’ right?”
Another fan argued:
“Everybody did a Disco song…”, Snider replied: “Very wrong.”

But not everybody did a f’ing XMas album … He should just shut the heck up
He/they still made a rocking x-mas album unlike KISS who made a Disco album. ’nuff said you still lose
You lose. Twisted Sister is no where close to Kiss when it comes to success and music.
Leader of the Pack. Not disco. Certainly not rocking.
Dee is way off on this. If anyone didn’t stay true to rock, it was Dee. He went off into everything except making music.
Dee man shut the hell your alwayz political over music and just jealous of kiss making more money then more albums then you please stop be4 have heart attack or something
Who cares what Dee Snider thinks. They had one successful album and a couple of hits and nothing more. Twisted Sister doesn’t come close to the level of Kiss. Never did and never will.
Dee Snider speaking is like Ted Nugent speaking. Both run their mouths a lot and say nothing. What a joke
