Bret Michaels is reuniting all the original members of Poison for a 40th-anniversary tour.
Michaels announced the exciting news during one of his performances. Music journalist Jeremy White posted a video from the show where Michaels shared the update: “40 year anniversary, 1986-2026, right back here, all original Poison,” said the lead singer. “C.C. DeVille, Rikki Rockett, Bobby Dall right back here. Wouldn’t that be an awesome night? Till then, let’s live in the moment right now.”
Earlier, in an interview, Michaels had hinted at his desire to reunite with the original lineup for something special. “One million percent. I was grateful to be out there again. With Mötley [Crüe] and [Def] Leppard and to be out there with Joan [Jett], I one thousand percent see that [kind of thing happening again].”
Poison’s most recent tour was in 2022, where they joined a stadium tour alongside Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, and Joan Jett, performing at Comerica Park in Detroit on July 10. Prior to that, their last headlining tour was in 2018, which included a show at Pine Knob on June 8.
