British avant-garde post-metal outfit BOSSK will perform their debut album in full to celebrate its tenth anniversary in a one-off Damnation Festival performance.
The show will be the only time the band perform .1 in its entirety, followed by the first airing of live Audio Noir material. Bossk are the latest addition to a bill which already boasts Enslaved, Nails, Akercocke, Full of Hell, Ne Obliviscaris and Oceans of Slumber.
They’ll take the Eyesore Merch stage at Leeds University Union on Saturday, November 5. The band said: “It’s crazy to us that our band has reached its 10 year anniversary. “We have talked about doing the first record in full for sometime now, to celebrate its release way back in 2006 and what better place to do it than at Damnation Festival? “We played our first show in Leeds at the Fenton in 2005, and we have always had a very strong alliance with the city. “After our return in 2012 we played Damnation and it was a very big factor in us wanting to continue making music. “Now with the new album out it is time to return to the Damnation stage. “We will be playing the first record .1 in its full extended form, along with first live plays of tracks from Audio Noir. “This is the ONLY time we will play this set. It’s going to be one to remember.”
