“The title theme to Jeff Beck’s ‘Cause We’ve Ended as Lovers.’

“I just love Jeff Beck, I love the way that he expresses himself through his guitar playing and his vibrato and his use of the bar.
“I just think that when you hear somebody like him play, he’s just speaking through his instrument.
“So rather than calling it a solo, I’m just going to say that whole song is something that is so expressive to me when I hear it.
“It really makes me feel something. Jeff Beck is a huge influence on me. Man, I grew up listening to so many different players. I kind of come from that realm of the ’80s shrapnel era.

“I grew up listening to guys like Marty Friedman, Jason Becker, Tony MacAlpine, and I’m fortunate enough to know all these guys now. I list all those guys as huge influences but I’d have to list Jeff Beck’s ‘Cause We’ve Ended as Lovers’ as one of my favorites.”
