Sebastian Bach says that he has no say in whether he reunites with SKID ROW or not, explaining that his return to the group lies solely at the hands of their respective managers.
SKID ROW guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo last week shot down the possibility of a reunion with Bach, saying that the chances of the singer coming back to the band are “slim to none.”
During an appearance on the “Quinn & Cantara Morning Show” on the PYX 106 radio station, Bach addressed the likelihood of him going back to SKID ROW, saying (hear audio below): “At this point, it has nothing to do with Snake or me. It has to do with two guys. One of them’s named Doc McGhee and the other is named Rick Sales. Doc is trying to put together the reunion of SKID ROW and Rick has managed me for over 10 years now. And they’re the two guys who can make it happen.”
“The funny thing is I read the headline… I don’t read everything else, if I can help it. [Laughs] But I can’t miss the headline,” he said. “So it says, ‘Why the reunion talks with Bach failed.’ There was no talk. There was not one talk. I have not talked… You would think if there’s ‘talks,’ that would involve people talking, right? That never… What the headline should have said correctly and accurately is, ‘Why the Bach reunion texts did not happen.’ Because all we did — the members of SKID ROW — was have a group text. I should upload the thread. It’s, like, a couple of texts: ‘Hey, you wanna do this?’ ‘Hey, what’s going on?’ ‘Hey, okay, you wanna do this?’ ‘I don’t know.’ ‘Well, fuck you then.’ [Laughs]”
Sebastian went on to reiterate that “the only guys that are putting [a SKID ROW reunion] together are Doc and Rick. It’s beyond me and Snake,” he said. “If we can’t get it together on a group text, then there’s really hope to us [being able to make the reunion happen on our own].
According to Bach, a reunion of SKID ROW‘s classic lineup is “just not up to me. If you read all of this stuff [that the members of SKID ROW have been saying], those guys have their own [idea] of what they think is cool and fun,” he said.
Asked point blank if he would take part in a SKID ROW reunion if it was offered to him, Bach said: “Sure. Yeah. Why not? We’re all still alive.”
