Metallica are rock music legends with eight Grammys out of 18 nominations over the course of their career. But it still did not prevent Grammy from disrespecting Metallica.

“Best Rock Song” category will not be included in the television show of the Grammy Awards ceremony this year. Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Foo Fighters, K. Flay, and Nothing More are nominated for the award.
Avenged Sevenfold is protesting this decision and they will not be attending this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony.
In addition, the metal category of the Grammy’s was already out of the telecast. Apparently, there’s no “rock” anymore.
