Gene Simmons has announced that KISS will embark on a three-year tour in January 2019, telling Expressen that fans can expect the “most spectacular tour ever” that will visit “all continents.”

The news comes following Paul Stanley’s comments that the band is preparing for its “biggest tour,” as well as after the group had filed an application to trademark the phrase “The End of the Road” to use it in connection with “live performances by a musical band.”
However, Gene Simmons said in a recent interview with Australia’s News Corp that he “had nothing to do” with KISS’s attempt to trademark “The End of the Road,”
It’s also worth noting that both Simmons and Paul Stanley seemed quite open to the idea of the band continuing without any of the original members at some point in the future.

Back in 2000 and 2001, KISS already performed a “Farewell Tour”. It was the band’s last tour to feature drummer Peter Criss, and saw the group play 142 shows over five legs, covering North America, Japan, and Australia. Stay tuned for updates.
