It seems, according to The Sun, that Robert Plant has held discussions with his once Led Zeppelin band mates Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones about hosting several events in London this October.

These evets are not likely to consist of either a reunion concert or an announcement of a new album, both of which are said to have been ruled out.
On several occasions Plant has refused to even consider any return with his band mates for more than a decade. Early ideas include the three remaining stars attending a celebration of their work, which would include famous artists covering their hit tunes. They might then even appear on stage individually with some of the star names.
The trio are also thought to be contracted to promote their new 368-page photo book, Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin.
The band’s late drummer, John Bonham, is likely to be represented by his son Jason.
Page has been begging Robert for nine years to give fans a farewell tour. However, Robert has shied away from his band mate’s pleas and turned down promoters’ offers of £100million cash.

Jimmy reckons the emotional aspect of playing without John is too tough for his pal to cope with on stage. Although Plant has made it known for a long time that he has is simply content with pursuing his solo career.
The band last played in 2007, what may perhaps have been for the final time.
