A new report by Blabbermouth reveals that the newly released court documents state that Cannibal Corpse guitarist Pat O’Brien made phone calls to his parents on the day of his arrest, telling them about “the rapture” and how “aliens have landed.” Similar statements were made by the owner of the house Pat broke into in Northdale, Florida, who revealed that O’Brien warned the residents about the “rapture” and claimed how “someone was after him.”

The guitarist appeared in court on December 11, one day after his arrest, wearing an anti-suicide vest, and his bond was set to $50,000. O’Brien was released on December 14 after paying the bond.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the rental home where Pat lived in and where the fire broke out on the day of the incident was investigated by the authorities and a large stash of weapons was found. This included around 50 shotguns with one of them having a barrel illegally sawed off, 10 semi-automatic rifles, 2 Uzi-style guns, and 20 handguns. The pile also included the two military-grade flamethrowers that were already reported on, and a large amount of ammunition stored in boxes, military-type metal cans, and ammunition belts, other weapons and weapon parts, and three skulls.
