Chicago evening at the House of Blues Chicago welcomes Dutch symphonic metal band, Within Temptation for their ongoing concert tour, Resist Tour. Along with direct support, In Flames and opening act, Smash Into Pieces. Both bands hailing from Sweden. The venue was packed with fans from Chicago and fans from out of state.

Smash Into Pieces opened up the show and immediately pumped the crowd. Lead singer Chris managed to crowd surf towards the end of their set. Next, we have In Flames tearing down the venue and closed off their set with Anders saying, “Don’t waste your time on bad beer.” Finally, we have the almighty Within Temptation kicking off their set with “Raise Your Banner” from their latest album, Resist. They put on a helluva breathtaking performance.
