According to The Blast, Chris Cornell‘s widow and his ex-wife are battling over his estate.
Vicky Cornell filed a petition to administer Cornell’s estate, listing herself and the Cornell Family Trust as sole beneficiaries of his last will and testament, which was signed in 2004.
Vicky believes his estate is worth at least $20 million.
However, Cornell‘s first wife, Susan Silver, and their 19-year-old daughter, Lillian, filed documents requesting a cut of the estate.
Susan and Lillian claim they are owed child support pursuant to a 2004 divorce settlement.
Susan also believes she is owed a percentage of Cornell‘s royalties. They want an accounting of the estate to determine just how much they are owed.
Vicky has objected to both claims and is seeking to dismiss them.
Chris and Vicky had two children, a daughter named Toni and a son named Christopher.
