Ted Nugent has once again blamed his exclusion from the Rock And Rock Hall Of Fame on the establishment’s supposed political bias.
In a new Interview, he explained, saying:
“I think my statements are irrefutable. I mean, STYX is not in the Hall Of Fame. How can STYX and Ted Nugent not be in the Hall Of Fame, but Patti Smith is? I mean, just look at the name: Rock. And. Roll. Hall. Of. Fame. Hey, I’m not an English major, but I’m an English master. I know what those words mean, and Grandmaster Flash doesn’t qualify. ABBA. Madonna. Really?
He further added:
Somebody could look you in the eye and explain that to you with a straight face? I don’t f*c*ing think so. No wonder the term “comfortably numb is appropriate often times in our society. Because someone was comfortably numb when they made those decisions.”
When asked about the reason, he said:
“Oh, because I murder innocent animals. [Laughs] I think the biggest one is because I’m really militantly anti-substance abuse, and I think everybody on the board abuses substances. That’s what I think. But when it comes to music, I dismiss all political considerations, ideology considerations, race considerations, ethnic considerations, s*xual confusion… whatever is different than me that has no bearing on my love of music.”

Ted is( and was) one of the most incredible and powerful rock guitarists
I Will buy some of his records,I want to listen him again.F**** the hall of fame,is only a stupid hall of fame, and people deciding who is and who is not got one of the best jobs of the world: money for doing nothing.
I bet they are all guys not men..
Ted is high on himself, Styx is less than a mediocre band, and himself sucks as a guitarist.
Well, he is one of the greatest guitarist ever, even if he is a douche.
Ted’s ego does preceed him. But he has a point. Judas Priest isn’t on the ballot anymore, but Shaka Khan is. That’s just weird.
And Iron Maiden is never likely to be inducted.
When rapoers end up on the R’NR HOF, well…
