Well well well… here we go again. AC/DC are back with a world tour with legendary Brian Johnson.
Loudwire reports reads:
“Our sources are telling us that the band is set to announce a 2019-2020 World Tour next week on Wednesday. Another fun bit of info we’ve got for you is to answer all of your questions about Brian Johnson.
“Yes, he’s back with the band. It’s been rumored for months now that he’s been working with the band and we’ve been told those rumors are true. Brian has been working special in-ears made for his performances so that he can continue to perform without causing any more damage to his hearing than he already has.
“Our source is someone close with the AC/DC camp and we believe them to be a reliable source.”
Last summer, both Johnson and classic AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd were spotted together with the band outside Vancouver’s Warehouse Studios, where the group’s last three albums were recorded, sparking rumors that a reunion is cooking up.
More recently, Eddie Trunk said:
“I have sources that have told me that they are absolutely going to tour with Brian back again. I think it’s pretty much a done deal that AC/DC, at the very least, are going to release some sort of record and it’ll be some sort of tribute to Malcolm [Young] just like Back in Black was a tribute to Bon [Scott].”
Recently legendary rock band AC/DC posted on social media for the first time in almost 2 years. They have strongly hinted at new activity from the band. AC/DC posted a short 8-second video on Facebook celebrating the 40th anniversary of their highly successful album ‘Highway To Hell’. Whether it’s 40th-anniversary tour celebrating ‘Highway To Hell’ or a new album. Only time will tell. We may also have a new album coming soon. Only time will tell! AC/DC was in the midst of making — or at least planning — another album, with Rudd and Johnson both back in the lineup. Online reports have also indicated Angus Young will dedicate the new AC/DC album to his late brother.

Any word on who will be playing bass (studio and live)?
I want them to tour with Airbourne and The Lazys.
