Recently Great White surprised all the fans by announcing a new singer Mitch Malloy. This obviously triggered lots of fans and lead to a debate on whether the band will be working on a new album or not.
In a new interview with Jimmy Kay of The Metal Voice, Great White guitarist talked about the new singer and also throws light on Motley Crue’s ‘Live Wire’ song.
It leads to a question of whether Motley Crue copied the riff from Great White song titled “Out Of The Night”.
Here’s the response from Mark Kendall:
“When we were in a band called Dante Fox which ended up turning into Great White every time we played the Whiskey Motley Crue would come down and watch us play and we played that song back then and then they had a song similar which it could be coincidental but you know they would come down to our shows. Who had it first I really don’t know? When that came out I I thought it sounded kind of similar but they had a way different chorus and they kind of started and stopped a lot. We were playing that song in like 79 -80 but no worries.”
