A reported earlier this week, Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson had temporarily stopped the show saying he saw a fan being beaten by “10 security guards.”
Now things have taken a complete shift as Tacoma police have issued a statement regarding the incident.
Marketing director Tammi Bryant told KIRO 7 that the staff had received multiple complaints about “an overly aggressive individual who when addressed, physically attacked a security professional,” who was ultimately arrested and booked into Pierce County Jail on suspicion of assault.
“Safety is the number one priority at the Tacoma Dome with a focus on a positive experience for all.”
The Tacoma Police Department told TMZ that the 26-year-old male fan was intoxicated and causing problems with other fans, refusing to leave after being asked.
The source adds:
“He then allegedly punched a security guard, who called for police assistance. He was then removed and cited for the alleged assault – and he declined medical aid.”
