Legendary TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider is known to express his opinion on political as well as non-political situations.
This time Dee has slammed NFL for choosing hiring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira to perform at Super Bowl halftime.
Dee was quite frustrated with the artists selected in NFL.
After NFL broke the news, Snider took to his Twitter to voice his displeasure.
He wrote:
“WTF!? @shakira and @jlo for this year’s @nfl halftime show!? Once again the great heavy music that rocks the stadiums week after week, game after game is completely ignored. I guess we don’t shake our a*s enough!!”
Earlier Dee has tweeted, saying:
“Hey @NFL! Your go-to songs at EVERY game are metal: Enter Sandman, Come On Feel the Noise, Thunder, Crazy Train, We’re Not Gonna Take It, We Are the Champions, Final Countdown, I Wanna Rock, We Will Rock You, Welcome to Jungle. NONE of those bands have EVER played half-time show!”

Hey Dee, after what is left of The Who played, do you think they’d want another rock act?
Rock doesn’t even register with the majority of fans who watch the Stupor Bowl.
Who the hell need the Super Bowl?
Oh. You mean they like lip-synching and people not actually playing instruments. I think he said heavy metal and The Who is not heavy.
They play metal at every game every week. He’s not wrong on this. They play pop garbage by people who haven’t been relevant in decades because they think it gives them mainstream appeal. I haven’t watched half time in decades.
