As reported last week, Motley Crue are rumored to have been offered a $150 Million reunion tour.
According to Rolling Stone, MÖTLEY CRÜE will hit the road next year for a U.S. tour with fellow hard rock acts POISON and DEF LEPPARD.
Sources have confirmed to the magazine that the three acts will perform at stadiums around the country.
The upcoming trek means that the four members of MÖTLEY CRÜE have collectively agreed to rip up the “cessation of touring” contract that they signed in 2014 preventing any of them from performing under the CRÜE name in the future.
According to RadarOnline, Vince Neil and Tommy Lee are locked in a petty war of words.
According to sources, Motley Crue is set to cash in with a $150 million Live Nation tour — if frontman Vince Neil drops 40 pounds and gets treatment.
But insiders say Vince Neil is pissed off by the promoters’ slim-down demands — and insisted drummer Tommy Lee is the one that needs to clean up his act! This hasn’t gone down with Lee.
As reported by AlternativeNation, Motley Crue are set to reunite for their first tour in 5 years this summer.
Interestingly the Crue boys are going to tour with Def Leppard and Poison on a joint bill. This news comes from The Black Crowes manager Mark Didia, who made the remark earlier this week on a radio station. The Black Crowes themselves just announced a reunion tour, along with Rage Against The Machine and My Chemical Romance, so 2020 is definitely shaping up to be the year of the big-money reunion tours.
It was also hinted by Eddie Trunk on Twitter, stating that bands that were seemingly retired would be back for huge paydays in 2020.
Neil tweeted a few days ago, “People these rumors are false. I haven’t spoken to any band members since movie premiere. I had to cancel shows due to back problems which I am getting treatment now. There is no tension between me and Tommy. Don’t believe anything from These so-called gossip sites. Keep Rocking.” Lee later liked the tweet. Neil only has a few shows booked for 2020, while Nikki Sixx had surgery this year and has nothing booked. Tommy Lee and Mick Mars are working on solo projects, but have no tour dates currently booked, so 2020 seems wide open for Motley Crue if the rumors are true.
Legendary rockers Mötley Crüe have entertained us with some of the classic glam rock songs in the last few decades. Having sold 100 million albums worldwide has made them one of the best-selling bands of all time. Fans love the Crue boys and without any doubt, 1989’s Dr. Feelgood is Mötley Crüe’s most popular album which reached number one. Motley Crue boys have also achieved seven platinum or multi-platinum certifications, six Top 20 pop singles, twenty-two Top 40 mainstream rock hits, and nine Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart. Vince Neil is one of the most loved frontmen in the history of rock music.
