Yngwie Malmsteen admonished the lighting technician at his Monterrey, Mexico concert for “f*cking around with the lights.”
He said:
“Okay. Thank you. I love you guys”
“Mr. Lighting Guy, Mr. Lighting Guy, stop f*cking around with the lights and keep the lights on my guitar. I’m trying to play for the people. Por favor. Thank you.”
Last summer, Yngwie denied his reputation as a temperamental egomaniac, saying that he is a “creator” who likes to control every aspect of his art.
