With the recent rumors on Motley Crue canceling/postponing the upcoming The Stadium Tour, fans are confused and waiting for the official announcement.
While a full announcement is expected on June 1st, two dates have already been postponed.
Bring Back Glam! reports that the July 2nd date at Cincinnati, Ohio’s Great American Ball Park, and the August 28th date at Chicago, Illinois’ Wrigley Field have been officially announced as postponed.
Fans who purchased tickets to those dates began receiving emails yesterday announced the postponement. Based on Live Nation’s new policy, fans have 30 days from the announcement of the postponement to claim a full refund, otherwise, the ticket will be transferred to the new date.
Fans are extremely confused whether they will get the refund for the postponed shows considering the pandemic and shortage of cash flow among people due to job losses.
Motley Crue fans took to social media and called out the promoter and the bands to let the ticket holders get the refund. Few fans even pointed out that they should learn from BON JOVI, who refunded all the tickets to the fans.
Here are some of the responses:
“Wow in these crazy times they should cancel and refund everyone’s money it will be a long time before bands will be able to preform concerts and have mass crowds congregating . They should take some pointers from Bon Jovi they cancelled so that there fans can get a full refund to pay bills and buy food . I already have my full refund that is what I call a class act ???❤️❤️❤️”
“Crue should learn from Bon Jovi. They refunded the tickets and people got the money back”.
“They should give you an option to keep or get your $ back! Everybody’s situation is different. I personally would prefer money back because I’m going to Buffalo which is a 2 1/2 hour drive. After I bought my tickets, they added Cleveland to the roster and that’s much closer! I’m sure a lot of people are in same situation since they added shows after the fact.”
“They are not allowing refunds. LiveNation is not even following their own policy for this series of concerts. Said “making determinations regarding refunds.”
“Why not just give the refund & let us decide rather or not we can or want to go to a “postponed” concert tour?!”
“F. U. I understand it’s a lot of money on the line but to use Ticketmaster’s change of rules midstream (which they are being sued for) as a reason people cant get their money back is pathetic.”
“I don’t mind them postponing as long as they give the option for a refund for some, as some people really need their money back. I think all of the concerts should be handled that way due to the situation.”
“There has been NO official announcement yet. This tour will Not happen. Livenation is only waiting so they can collect as much interest on your money as possible.”
“Learn From BON JOVI.”
“Tour should be cancelled like Bonjovi did to get the $$ back to fans. Not fair to hold onto the $$ for over a year!!!”
“Selfish on their part.. shows what a standup band Bonjovi is to cancel their tour and let the fans recuperate their money”
Some fans were happy with the shows being postponed. Here’s what they said:
“I’m glad they aren’t cancelling shows yet. I got good tickets and I dont want to lose them. I will go now, next year, two years, whenever they decide is the right time..”

I have Wrigley tickets and didn’t receive any such email.
I have Fenway tickets and received no email. Stubhub is still listing the concert as active 10 days after the tour was cancelled officially and they will not refund! Thieves.
hahahahah, tack on another year suckers.
