Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider responded a tweet by the former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar on Twitter after realizing he was talking about himself in the third person.
Former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar shared a tweet about his ninth studio album ‘I Never Said Goodbye‘ which was released on June 23, 1987.
Here’s what Sammy Hagar stated on his tweet about his album:
“Today marks 33 years of “I Never Said Goodbye,” an album that spent 23 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart becoming Sammy’s highest-charting solo album.
This lead to confusion on social media whether Sammy Hagar is posting by himself or someone else is doing it.
However, Dee Snider realized something weird about Sammy’s tweet and responded back at Sammy with a comment:
“Why do you talk about yourself in the third person? Just sayin’….“

Because Hagar is a self centered, attention seeking douche. His example in fact demonstrates a fact that he purposely ignores, and that is, VH saved his career. Or at least, advanced it. He is a pathological liar, and he keeps getting caught. That album sold because he had joined VH. many fans bought it, and didn’t know who he was, or much about him before VH. He claims that he was a platinum album star on the same level as VH before he “reluctantly” joined VH. Bulls***. He never had a platinum album before VH. Waaaay later, around his 3rd album with VH, his solo stuff started selling and 1 went platinum. Why? Because the attention VH gave him. Also in his book, he actually details how he knew in advance what position his solo album would chart at to start. That is where he learned that the record company paid to make sure it charted. Literally told him the number in advance. hey, his words, not mine. but here he conveniently forgets that. I can’t believe I was a fan. Really dug his old stuff. But I hate liars, frauds, hypocrites, and whiney, needy people. And he is all of those things.
