Van Halen fans are always divided between Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth era.
This battle seems to never end as fans to this date continue arguing about it.
Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang Van Halen has expressed his concern over this never-ending argument.
Wolfgang isn’t picking sides and lately has got a lot of flak from David Lee Roth fans over Van Halen reunion talks.
Wolfgang on Sammy v/s David debate said:
“I’m not a purist. It’s all great.”
“The same guy wrote all the music. Kinda dumb not to give it a chance if you like one or the other so much.”
Now former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar has come in support of Wolfgang by praising his new solo music. He in fact called him “inherited genetically enough talent for 10 lifetimes.”
This is his first solo album. He also told a fan on Instagram that he sees his father’s reputation as both a blessing and a curse when it comes to his own solo career. “I’m not trying to be my father, I’m trying to be me,” he wrote
