We reported last week about no possibility of VAN HALEN touring again.
This was said by David Lee Roth, saying, he doesn’t know if Eddie Van Halen will ever tour again.
In a conversation with The New York Times Roth shared his opinion if he thinks Van Halen will ever tour again:
“I don’t know that Eddie is ever really going to rally for the rigours of the road again. I don’t even want to say I’ve waited — I’ve supported for five years.
Because what I do is physical as well as musical and spiritual — you can’t take five years off from the ring. But I did. And I do not regret a second of it.
He’s a band mate. We had a colleague down. And he’s down now for enough time that I don’t know that he’s going to be coming back out on the road. You want to hear the classics? You’re talking to him.”
After Loudwire posted an Instagram photo of Eddie along with the headline “David Lee Roth Doubts Eddie Van Halen Will Ever Tour Again”, Wolfgang shut down David Lee Roth’s statement on Van Halen tour by saying:
“Yeah I don’t really think that’s up for him to decide”.

Eddie Van Halen is in terrible health. Years of cocaine and alcohol abuse, a bone disease, hip replacement and just age. I suppose he can play, but can he get through a two-hour show and multi-monthed world tour? I doubt it. Also, F Eddie and Alex for booting Michael Anthony and then, belittling his talents and massive contributions. Best technical vocalist in the band ever.
Wolfie, if you’re in it, it’s not Van Halen. You’ve just benefited from nepotism; you couldn’t carry Michael Anthony’s jockstrap.
Truth!
