We always think of Motley Crue’s tough days after Vince Neil quit the band.
We got John Corabi who’s an excellent frontman but Crue heads had already made up their mind with ‘ No Vince, No Motley Crue’.
This made me think what if Skid Row’s Sebastian Bach had joined MOTLEY CRUE back then?
What do you think?
Do you think Crue would have become even more famous? or Sebastian Bach wouldn’t have been able to carry the torch?
Here’s what the fans have to say:
“Bottom line is the Motley Crue self titled 94 album is way ahead of it’s time. It bombed because the grunge and the follow up to their biggest albums of the catalog. Its not corabi’s fault. It should of been called a different name for the band too. Its an awesome album!”
“Who? Corabi? The dude from The Scream? Yeah The Scream had a killer album but never heard of him since Bach was a one album flash and Motley was 4 dudes; Vince, Nikki, Mick and Randy…oh, I mean Tommy, kinda. Haha! I just pissed off 99% of Motley fans.”
“Even if Vince had not been fired & sang on the 94 album it would have flopped. After Nirvana and grunge took over 90% of bands from the 80s were considered yesterday’s news. The record labels had no interest in promoting bounce like motley Crue in 1994. And it was the same thing on terrestrial rock radio. They had no interest in playing any bands from the 80s at that point in time they were doomed.”
