Kiss‘s Paul Stanley mentioned again that there’s a possibility that original Kiss members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss to be the guests on the “End Of The Road” tour.
In a recent interview with Brazil’s “Inside With Paulo Baron”, he talked about Ace Frehley and Peter Criss and the final tour, saying:
“Anything is possible. I don’t rule anything out. I have to say that we wouldn’t be here today if not for our past. If Peter and Ace hadn’t been there at the beginning, we wouldn’t be here today.
”But I will also say that if Peter and Ace had stayed with the band, we also wouldn’t be here today. So you have to put it into some sort of balance and perspective.
“If there is a way to include them in celebrating the final tour, yeah, I’m open to it. It has to make sense and it has to feel right, because the band has existed far, far, far too long without them to let anybody spoil this or make it less than it should be. If there’s no joy in it, I’m not interested.”

Could have stopped that last sentence at “This band has existed far far too long without them”. Because that pretty much sums up the problem right there.
The magic left. But the band lived on
I consider post-Ace/Cat KISS like Hagar era Van Halen. Both had their times to shine. But OG lineup definitely was never matched on wax or live.
Maybe Peter and Ace would have stayed if they were treated and PAID fairly.
He forgets to say that their current success would not have been possible without the reunion tours that Ace and Peter did when they put the makeup back on. No matter Ace and Peter’s flaws, KISS would have faded away. No one would have accepted a KISS tour with makeup in 1995-1996 with Eric and Tommy wearing Ace and Peter’s makeup
Ace and Peter was great in the 70s. But then drugs and Alcohol took over. Paul and Gene made changes to keep KISS Alive for 50 years. If Ace and Peter would of stayed. On there destructive path. KISS Would of been over by 83. True Facts….
