After a disastrous performance at Iowa’s 2021 Boone River Valley Festival, Vince Neil has now canceled the show scheduled to happen on June 18 in New York.
There’s no statement from Vince Neil yet but the promoter has released the statement, saying:
“Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel announced today that due to circumstances beyond their control, the concert on June 18th, 2021 will no longer feature Vince Neil. Batavia Downs hopes to welcome Vince to Batavia Downs next summer.”
It added:
“Please note that any comments on this post that use profanity or degrade any artist will be removed and you will be banned from our Facebook page.”
MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman lost his voice halfway through the gig.
Here’s what he said to the crowd during Girls, Girls, Girls:
“Hey, guys… I’m sorry, you guys. It’s been a long time playin’. My f*ckin’ voice is gone… Eh… We love you, and we’ll hopefully see you next time, man. Take care.”
After Neil walked off the stage, his backing band continued to play the song, singing along to what appeared to be pre-recorded backing vocals.
Motley Crue fans expressed concerns over his voice expecting him to deliver quality performance after spending more than a year for ‘The Stadium Tour’.
