People around the world are stepping up to do their part to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, including celebrities.
One such legend is rock star Jon Bon Jovi.
In 2019, JBJ Soul Kitchen was able to open its third location on Rutgers, Newark. They chose the third location to be near the Rutgers University so that they would be able to reach students who need help.
“To study hard and eat ramen noodles. How about if it’s the only thing you can afford?” said Bon Jovi to CBS.
This is very common to students who are struggling to finish college. Most of them have jobs and have to juggle school and work, and when they go home, they only eat instant noodles.
He appeared in an Instagram photo washing dishes in the back of his restaurant, JBJ Soul Kitchen, in Red Bank, New Jersey.
“If you can’t do what you do… do what you can!”
read the caption, alongside two other photos showing staff members serving meals and a man approaching the restaurant.
Bon Jovi also shared the first photo on his Instagram account with the same caption.
Fans and followers praised the 58-year-old music icon and left comments thanking him for stepping up during a time of crisis.
