Sammy Hagar posted a photo of himself to thank their fans for their interest in his concert on his Instagram account.
One of the Hagar fan asked him to share his ideas about David Lee Roth getting dropped from current KISS tour.
Here’s what a fan asked:
“Sammy! What are your thoughts on David Lee Roth getting kicked off the KISS tour?“
Hagar responded:
“Laughing emojis.”
Recently, Paul Stanley has also commented upon the feud between Roth and Simmons on his Twitter.
In his tweet, he appeared to support the Van Halen icon as he praised his performances and claimed he is still Diamond Dave on the stage.
Paul Stanley’s tweet read:
“Speaking of David Lee Roth… I remember seeing him in the ’70s with Van Halen at MSG and thinking to myself ‘There’s a new sheriff in town.’ Just amazing what he had evolved into in a few short years. On stage, he’s still Diamond Dave!”
Earlier KISS had dropped David Lee Roth as a support act KISS‘s rescheduled U.S. leg of the farewell tour.
This was confirmed by Gene Simmons in a new interview with Rolling Stone.
Here’s what Gene said:
“It bears noting that during Dave‘s heyday, nobody did what he did. He was the ultimate frontman. Not [Robert] Plant, not Rod Stewart, nobody. He took being a frontman way beyond anything. And then, I don’t know what happened to him… something. And you get modern-day Dave.
He concluded:
“I prefer to remember Elvis Presley in his prime. Sneering lips, back in Memphis, you know, doing all that. I don’t want to think of bloated naked Elvis on the bathroom floor.”
