MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil played his second concert of 2022 this past Saturday night (January 15) at Lawrenceburg Event Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
His first gig of 2022 itself was a disaster and this one is no different.
Although some parts of this concert were pretty ok, Vince Neil is still nowhere close to a performance which is expected from him.
Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be seen below:

I don’t want to be critical, but somewhere along the way this guy’s made some money and every performance video I’ve seen recently he’s wearing the exact same clothes. I’m waiting for them to just peel themselves off of him and walk away on their own.
I think you all need to stop criticizing Vince give the guy a break already atleast he is trying and wants to give you best show he can trying to get himself as going as he can to jump back out there even though it may be to soon aatleat trying easy to talk trash when it not you.
Whereas people are paying $ to see these shows, you shouldn’t defend his horrid performances. Period.
I don’t pay people who are “trying”, I pay people who deliver what I’m paying for, (in this case, a good show).
Wrong. 100%.
he’s doing it for only 3 reasons: Cash, ego, and cash.
I have to agree with Mr Miller, I watched the videos and they don’t seem to be as horrible as some are making it out to be. It was what I expected from a guy his age who’s sung his heart out for years and years and did the drugs he has. I thought he did awesome considering all , and I would definitely pay to see one of my all time fav’s growing up if I ever got the chance, cheers all!! And keep on rocking Vince!!!!
Exactly!
HAIL SATAN! HEIL SATAN!! ALL HAIL THE DARK LORD SATAN!!! 666
No
Damn , you can definitely go to Washington and work for the democrat party .
Ah, a response almost as idiotic as the Satan lover. Good on ya, Trumper.
The problem is the people are complaining about vince but are singing the songs for him if everyone stayed silent then someone would take notice I am a massive crue uk fan. But would waste good money on a concert just to line their pockets after the success of the dirt shame on them
Vince cannot sing chyte with that belly, lazy vocals..
Painful to me being a amazing vocalist and am broke.lol…He’d throw his voice away for mine.
He gets to collect checks without getting in shape to efen sound good..
Motley Crue would hire me in ten seconds, they deserve top vocalist for how tight..
Sad how people pay and like boxing,no work goes into craft anymore.
Vince is lazy, and lazy vocal with that belly..
He did nothing!!!! I hope Crue does not humiliate themselves by showing with him again.
He’s probably jacked up on something that’s the only thing that keeps him going.
Anyone who expects that Vince will actually sing more than 50% of a song is kidding themselves. I wouldn’t go see him or Motley Crue for free at this point
My son has been wanting go see the stadium tour with me and I’ve told him that if he wants me to go, he’d have to pay for my ticket because I’m done paying to see Vince and/or Motley Crue.
Leave Vince alone.
He rocks!
Ledford here. Back in the day of sex, drugs, and rock & roll Vince and the Crue ruled the world. Out of L.A they made rock what it was and still is. None of the Crue , Mick, Tommy, Sixx, and especially Vince have to prove to anything to anyone. The 80s belonged to them and no matter how hard you try it can’t be stripped from them. So rock on Vince and remember Girls, Girls, Girls and Kick Start My Heart. All y’all haters keep hating. Vince and I laugh at you, Lmao, cause you’ll never have the game. Ah… The sweet memories of doing…Whatever you wanted?
Very Well Said
IDK about ‘owning the 80’s’ but they did damn good…back then. Today’s Crue is what left after you destroy your body w// drugs & alcohol for decades. W/ < that said Vince Neil has NO (0) excuse to be THAT fat, not w/ his money and access to the best of the best. He looks like a pregnant whale & simply won't work hard to look good. I realize he has diabetes and has been through a helluva lot but simply is NO excuse. I wouldn't pay $25 to see today's old burned out used up Crue. MIck Mars has an excuse, Neil doesn't. Tommy & Nicki look great in comparison. They'd be better firing him AGAIN and bringing back Corabi…IMO.
? Yes. Exactly.
Yessss Vince!!! You are amazing and your voice ROCKS!! Keep on shining and see you in Atlanta on The Stadium Tour!! ??????❤️❤️??☮️☮️???
Dang Vince….ouch.
Sleeveless shirts are not his friend. He’s a good example of what a life of extreme excess does to your body. Nikki Sixx works hard to stay as fit as possible and I have no doubt that he could pull off a tour, but I think that a tour will do Vince in. He already farms out most of his vocals to the audience, holding his mic out every other word for the audience to sing it, and he was doing that on his last tour. I think it’s time for Vince to retire. The last tour was supposed to be their farewell tour. Let it be. ?
He never had a good voice back in his hey day. But now, it’s just embarrassing. I love Crue, but it’s time for Vince to give it up. The dude can’t sing….. Period! What he needs is to join weight watchers!
Seriously, enough with picking on Vince Neil. Who the hell sounds like they did at 20 something when they are 60?!? I saw him a few years ago and loved reliving my youth and rocking out! Love you Vince! Thank you for still getting out there and doing what you do! ♡
Steven Tyler….for one
Yes….with Autotune
Out of the responses in support of Vince, I liked this one most. So many people who so readily pour their derision because there’s no bang for their buck? Fine, they worked for it, I guess. But nevertheless, everyone knows we won’t hear the Vince of the 80’s, so instead of expecting to hear that Vince it would perhaps be better (if you truly are Crue fans) to enjoy the simple fact that it’s still the actual, living, breathing, trying Vince onstage. Doing these shows, leading up to perform with the Crüe and delivering a better performance. I prefer to appreciate seeing my artists still alive, still rocking, and if my singing along is helping them, great! They already did so much for me in the golden years
Time to retire
They were soooo huge ? soooo crazy goood ??? make me sad to see everything going away ?
Love seeing Vince out there rocking out! Although some may be disappointed in his performance I see it from a slightly different perspective. We’ve all heard the sayings about our body is our temple. He’s just growing older. We all grow older if we are lucky. Keep rocking out Vince! Motley FN Crue fan!
“Nowhere near what is expected from him?” Come on, what exactly is expected? Vince wasn’t a great live singer 30+ years ago, what do people think they are going to hear differently now? I’ve seen comments joking about teleprompters, backing tracks etc. Well yeah, that’s happening with so many live acts today it would make your head spin. Many people have no idea what goes on behind the scenes with concerts today. Ya know what? Because Vince doesn’t sound perfect means he’s actually singing live and I say good for him. The ones that do sound perfect? You’re very possibly listening to a track. If he’s still selling tickets to the shows then he’s doing something right. If you don’t like it, then just don’t go.
Vince doesn’t sound too bad, actually he is fun to watch. Music sounds good. What we all can realize is after years of living the Motley Crue life it takes its toll on your vocal range and appearance. He simply needs a make over with a good trainer and as for vocals well, you get better quality when you have a better equipment that helps with the range being years have went by with partying. He still can put on a good show with the original lineup. It takes discipline from him to prepare I think Vince knows this so let’s let him prepare with the solo lineup for him to determine if he’s more then prepared for Motley tour for the future rock in Vince!
Longtime Crue fan (since ’82). I’ve seen them a few times through the years. Vince sounds great in the studio, not so much live, even way back in the day (the 80’s). Check out Motley at US Festival (’83). He’s never been a great live singer if you ask me. I love ya Vince but we gotta keep it real.
A least he’s trying to make some income…
Vince Neil can lose a few pounds and maybe get in better shape, but it is what it is. Either see him live or don’t. I have no problem seeing him live; the songs have been awesome throughout many years, the bass, drums and guitar are awesome and Vince is trying his best to put on a good show. He loves what he does, and that’s singing and entertaining – don’t criticize him; simply don’t see him live if it shatters your world. I’ll continue to see him because I love his spirit and what he contributed to the Rock era.
Kids, don’t do drugs.
Good song! Vince is cool. Alcohol may be keeping his abs hidden.
He did good ,Band sounded good .
He was horrible 13 yrs ago when I went to see him and Motley Crue. At least S.I.X.X AM was good. Left about 3 songs in when Vince started singing. Terrible vocals and what looked to be a bunch of jazzercizing ?♀️
Vince wasn’t that bad. Look at a recent clip of Don Dokken trying to sing…
At this point I feel like anyone paying to go to these shows is either a super-fan who has deluded themselves into believing he’s still got something that he’s been missing for the better part of 20 years now, or they’re buying a ticket in hopes of seeing the train wreck that it is inevitably going to be.
Vince Neil just one great guy his voice is due to all them years gone by but Vince being Vince he still sings well in my opinion,,,,keep up the good work,,,, ps I could be a Vince Neil look a like 😉
Notice that his mic is turned down, much lower than the rest, because he can no longer sing. Anyone who would pay to see this guy fake his way through a show is nuts. He is simply going through the motions, collecting an unearned check. It. Is. Over.
I have that exact same sleeveless shirt and biker smock Vince is wearing for his show! I only wear mine when I’m working my pottery wheel though. . .
I agree with Jennifer above! I’d love to see all the people critizing get up on stage when they’re in their 60’s and have that energy giving it all they have for 2 solid hours. I couldn’t do it and wasn’t born until the year they got together. For him to be going at it this hard for this long all for the fans! That’s says something…. It takes a lot people. So unless you’ve done it yourself I don’t think you have a leg to stand on. We should be praising him and thanking him for still putting himself out there for us.
You don’t need to be an actor, politician or a check-out operator to criticise their professional performance, and you don’t need to be a famous musician to criticise their performances, either. He is selling a show as A-grade when his performance is very much c- or even d-grade. If he expects the audience to actually sing all the songs’ choruses, then maybe he should split the fee with them.
such a shame . but the proofs in the pudding and it looks like vince has eaten all of it .he’s clearly out of his depth .i would feel ripped off if i had paid to attend this show . very sub par . there are many artists of his vintage that are still bringing it and making the grade . if you can’t do this then you should stop . don dokken is another prime example of this . i fear vince has already pawned his legacy for a quick buck . he was never the greatest singer in the first place this just proves there was always a fine line and he crossed that a long time ago
God dude you just suck what legacy you did have you ate I think maybe cuz it’s definitely s*** now. And what’s up with the pulp fiction intro not original at all back in the 90s I saw a million bands do the same f****** thing the f*** is wrong with you dude should have hung it up a long time ago or left it hung up
I only watched Feelgood. I’ll say that 1) Vince has clearly lost some weight and is more mobile, and 2) while the bar was not high, his performance of this one doing was substantially better than any performance he’s done in the last decade.
I saw Motley Crue many times in the 80s in Dallas-Fort Worth and right now I am so shocked that he is up there doing this with that big belly the same clothes every time and Knowing damn well he’s not in shape to do this quit drinking Vince get with it work on that belly and maybe your sound will come back or you should just retire is what I think stop trying to be in competition with the others you’re making yourself look bad in the end
Seen them on the farewell tour in 2014 I think and Motley crue should have opened for their opening act Alice Cooper. Vince did more gasping for air than singing, couldn’t remember the words to songs he’s been singing for 30years. Stop kidding yourself walk away Vince you can’t sing anymore! The only people paying to see him or Motley crue don’t know any better. Vince Neil and Motley crue went from headliner to not even an opening act. They were amazing in the day but not any longer.
This never changing storyline isn’t news FFS!! He was never a great singer in his “prime” and was only listenable because if Mars outstanding guitar work and Tommy’s drumming. Don’t get me started on whats his name that couldn’t play bass.
HE WANTS TO JUST CHILL AND BE RETIRED…He is just doing it to pay the high cost of the Plastic Surgeon bills for his girl in Nashville. I know I did the same thing for my ex wife in Nashvegas. Now I live in Fl she’s in Tn!
I see all the putting Vince down and yeah, its 40 years later but tell me 1 performer that sounds the same after 40 yrs, you can’t.
And to all the wanna-be Crüe fans that say they won’t go see Mötley, good, stay the f*ck home, The REAL Crüe fan WILL still be there no matter what.
Steven Tyler.
Klaus Meine from Scorpions. Hell, I would see them a thousand times over if they toured in NA again.
Don’t go to his show and now it’s not your problem.
Practice makes perfect. Vince keep up the hard work
No one has a perfect concert. Why criticize the group you love. Ide be lucky after all these years to still be able to perform. Hats off to them all.
Lots of negative criticism in these comments but most of you can’t be where he’s been and one thing is for certain, … he’s got balls.
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU VINCE!
Wow! Aren’t all the perfect humans very judgy on here! If you’re not having sex with Vince… why does it matter what he’s wearing? Do I detect a bunch of femme male fashionistas on here? A good way to end this “going nowhere, energy draining, redundant rhetoric of a conversation” would be for any of you to accept my challenge. Here it is: If you feel you can do better, because you believe you ARE better, can you please call the powers that be and go on tour as Motley Crue’s opening act? …..”Hush lil baby don’t say a word..”>>
? “Well it’s the same old , same old situaaaaaation ? “ …???? See ya @ the show “GIRLS” Girls Girls ..??
