In a recent conversation with Lifeminute, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil was asked about the band’s future, more, if a reunion would happen.

Here’s what Kim said:

“I think it’s very likely that Matt and Ben and I will play together. I think we know that the songs that we love, that we did for decades with Soundgarden, if we’re going to play those songs again, or hear those songs, where we want to hear them, at best, it’ll be with at least the three of us, you know, that’s the closest we’re going to get [to Soundgarden’s classic lineup] at this point.

“So I think we’d want to re-explore that, do that, you know, sometime in the future, and I think the three of us have an interest in doing new things. We certainly like working together.”
