Vince Neil-led Motley Crue performed at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Thursday, August 25.
It turns out Neil messed up the performance and it was not the best of shows for Crue. AZCentral called it a ‘mess.’
Here’s what AZCentra said:
“Vince Neil has clearly reached the stage where he cannot be counted on to rise to the occasion.
His vocal performance was almost at its best when just the notes were wrong. There were so many times when his phrasing was wildly out of sync with the rest of the band.
And to be clear, you wouldn’t want to be the guy who had to sing to … that.”
Earlier Fans were confused with Motley Crue’s performance in PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 12th.
Here are some of the comments:
“Was at the show something was off with their mix sounded muddy couldn’t hear backing vocals at all and hardly any bass sound at our seat to stage left. Other than Vince’s horrible singing the whole lineup was a good show Def Leppard was the best hands down IMO.”
“This show rocked! Vince still needs some work, but it was bada*s!! Glad I got to see them.”
“CRUE rocked hard”.
“Killer performance by CRUE & Vince tried his best. DEF LEPPARD and POISON stole the show.”
“Omg I’m so glad I didn’t go to this he sounds just f*cking awful. Going to Metallica instead tomorrow”
Earlier, bassist Nikki Sixx slammed other musicians who criticize Motley Crue, just for the fact to get the media attention.
See below what Sixx shared:
“Whenever other musicians start to slag us I usually look them up and realize they are in the middle of trying to sell a book, music, tour, or something to YOU using my or our name.
”Things that make you go hmmmmm!!”
