With Motley Crue done with ‘The Stadium Tour’, there are plans for the band to tour other countries sometime next year onwards.
It was revealed by singer Vince Neil to Las Vegas Review-Journal that Mötley Crüe are planning to tour with Def Leppard in Mexico, South America, and Europe in 2023 and in America in 2024.
Our folks at Metal Sludge reported earlier today that John 5 could be replacing Mick Mars in Mötley Crüe for future shows. Age is catching up & it’s evident that Mick may not be able to perform live in the coming years.
Metal Sludge‘s article indicates in part:
“Metal Sludge have been tipped off from a few in the industry that John 5 is strongly being considered and just might be the guy you will see playing guitar for Motley Crue at some point in the future.
Earlier today, a new article just hit Blabbermouth today that notes John 5 may no longer be a member of the Rob Zombie band.
Replacement guitarist Mike Riggs played last night for Zombie at the Aftershock event in Sacramento.
Blabbermouth writes:
“According to Rock Feed, John 5 and Rob Zombie “no longer follow each other on social media,” lending credence to the theory that John 5 is no longer a member of Rob‘s band.”
There is no confirmation of this from Motley Crue, John 5, or any other camp yet.

John 5 is incredible and I don’t think he will have the freedom to be himself. He will have to follow the MC format. He is too unique of a guitar player to be put in a box of a band style like that. I like motley Crue but they should find someone who’s very good but more generic in his playing style.
Mick is unreplaceble …
Nope he should not, Motley should call it a night day and retire and never tour again. But that is just my opinion. Vince can’t do it anymore.
