MOTLEY CRUE fans are excited to have John 5 as the band’s new guitarist after Mick mars announced his retirement from touring.
With this announcement, CRUE fans took to social media and requested the band to also announce a new singer, following fans complaining about Vince Neil’s average to bad performance every night on ‘The Stadium Tour’.
Here’s what the fans said:
“They also need a new good singer”
“Tell you what. Seen the stadium tour in Edmonton Alberta. I’ve seen Crüe 6 times and Vince was a total disappointment.”
“Get a new singer”
“They should hire a singer too….”
“How bout a new singer too w real Pipes?”
“Now if they could only get a good vocalist”
“He and Nikki are tight this is no surprise, but my complaint with this tour was Vince..he needs to be replaced”
“Huge crue fan since the 80s. Doesn’t matter anymore who plays the music. .vince is done. They sound lousy. It is what it is.”
“They should just STOP!! Vince Neil sounds terrible. Do as LED ZEPPELIN did. Lose a member and JUST STOP. I have always rocked out to their music.”
John 5 entry to the CRUE was made official by the band in a new statement, saying:
“While change is never easy, we accept Mick‘s decision to retire from the band due to the challenges with his health. We have watched Mick manage his Ankylosing Spondylitis for decades and he has always managed it with utmost courage and grace.”
“To say ‘enough is enough’ is the ultimate act of courage. Mick‘s sound helped define MÖTLEY CRÜE from the minute he plugged in his guitar at our very first rehearsal togther. The rest, as they say, is history. We’ll continue to honor his musical legacy.
“We will carry out Mick‘s wish and continue to tour the world as planned in 2023. No doubt will it take an absolutely outstanding musician to fill Mick‘s shoes so we are grateful that our good friend, John 5 has agreed to come on board and join us moving forward. We’ll see all you Crüeheads out on the road!”

Vince loose the weight and get your voice back or give it up your shot 6 date into the Tour as a fan Im getting ripped off and ya your looking like the Yeti
Lose and loose are two different words
He was trying to lose the weight with the Emsculpt system. I saw them in September and the rest of the band did a good job carrying him. They did a medley of some songs and Nikki and Tommy did a lot of the talking. Vince didn’t sound too bad but I feel like he wasn’t putting much effort. He never was a great singer. Maybe all the drugs and drinking have caught up to him.
Vince is really looking aweful and he sounds terrible his time is over just retire with dignity.
Yall were a great band but not anymore…
“Lose”
I stopped going to Crue shows in the early 90’s because Vince made zero effort even then. He doesn’t know the lyrics half the time, and has the crowd do most of the singing for him. Why pay for that?
i saw crue at the us festival in 1983 i hate to say it but they were beyond awful vince was the worst i cant imagine it could be any worse than that i was a crue fan and felt embarrased for them mick was onlly one decent
Honestly, I’ve only attended to see Tommy Lee do his thing! I loved them in the 80’s and keep going to every concert hoping Vince will at least try this time…… he doesn’t.?
I know.. Spell check..
Vince needs to be replaced also, horrible horrible horrible!!
They were sounding horrible the night I saw them & crying about it raining and the poor babies couldn’t go out in the rain.
Mick is gone so it’s all ready not the original motley Crue so what is the big deal about getting rid of vince ????
Just do it !!!
Biden did this..
Eric made in FRANCE !! Yeak Yeak Yeak
Mick didn’t retire from the band as Motley Crue states; he retired from touring…LIARS! And Vince could never sing without a studio to clean that train wreck up.
I seen them in Atlanta this year not what i expected Tommy had hurt ribs a lot of his stuff was recorded they did bring another drummer to help but Vince just sucked i was not impressed

Replacing a singer that can’t hit high notes anymore is not wrong, it’s been done many times even with singers from Tribute bands. Journey did it, Judas Priest did it, Queensrÿche did it, Etcétera. Even Foreigner replaced Lou Gramm and sounds better than ever. In the case of Mötley Crüe, there’s a ton of Tribute bands but it’s rare to find one that does a great job paying tribute to Mötley. In my opinion there’s one band that honors the legacy of Mötley Crüe and that’s The Crüe Tribute Houston from Texas. Their frontman Greg Norton would be a great stand in for Vince. I’m not saying replacement because Vince is the original frontman regardless of if he can still sing or not. Greg would be honored to pay tribute to Vince and Mötley Crüe if he had the chance. Here’s a video of The Crüe Tribute Houston. See for yourself and let me know if you agree with me or not.
