In a new interview with Consequence of Sound, Ozzy Osbourne gave an update on his health.
Ozzy said:
“It’s a slow recovery. The surgery [I had earlier this year] in my spine, my neck, the first surgeon who did it, he f*cked it all up, and I had to have other surgeries to put things back again as normal as possible. And when they go into your spine, they cut nerves, so it’s taken a while for the nerves to react to anything.
“I am getting there. It’s a very slow recovery. I’m not good at being sick anyway, and it’s too f*cking slow for me. I’ve never been this laid up in my life.”
He also added:
“I’m determined to get back on the stage again. I don’t think I’ll be doing f*cking nine-month tours anymore. But I don’t even know myself.
“Right now, I’m still in recovery, and I have a goal. And my goal is to get back onstage. It’s the driving force in me. I miss my audience. I miss doing gigs. I miss my crew. I miss my band. I miss the whole thing.”
During a conversation with Rolling Stone, Ozzy Osbourne confirmed Black Sabbath won’t reunite again and his regret about Black Sabbath’s farewell tour.
When asked about Black Sabbath, Ozzy said:
“I was talking to [guitarist] Tony Iommi the other day, and he was saying, by the looks of it, we’re gonna be a f*cking thing of the past in the respect that there’ll be no more indoor gigs.”
When asked about Tony’s interest to play one more Black Sabbath gig, Ozzy said:
“Not for me. It’s done. The only thing I do regret is not doing the last farewell show in Birmingham with [drummer] Bill Ward. I felt really bad about that.
“It would have been so nice. I don’t know what the circumstances behind it were, but it would have been nice.
“I’ve talked to him a few times, but I don’t have any of the slightest interest in [doing another gig]. Maybe Tony’s getting bored now.”

Ozzy is really going through alot. I have had 2 c-spine surgeries and am permanently disabled due to pain. The recovery is very long and the second one was worse than I ever imagined. I pray he does better.
