Journey’s upcoming 50th-anniversary tour will start next month but apparently, the band’s co-founder Gregg Rolie will not be part of it says Neal Schon.
Since the New York radio station, Q104.3 said that it removed Journey’s article that was suggesting that Jonatan Cain welcomed Gregg Rolie’s return, a fan asked Neal Schon does that means that Gregg Rolie won’t be part of the tour now.
Neal Schone replied:
“Not at this moment. Both Gregg and I intend to shed some real light on the subject matter very soon.”
Jonathan Cain recently posted a photo on his social media page where he’s mentioning that he will hit the road with Journey on the next month’s tour.
Cain captioned the following:
“I feel very grateful and blessed to share this time on the slopes with my Baby before hitting the road with Journey. #grateful #blessed #mountains #love #ski”
Neal Schon hinted that Journey‘s co-founder Gregg Rolie will make an appearance on the band’s upcoming 50th-anniversary tour, presumably in the place of Cain, with whom Neal has been publicly feuding.
Earlier, Neal Schon has confirmed that fans of Journey can expect to see original keyboardist Gregg Rolie on the band’s upcoming 50th-anniversary tour.
Neal addressed Rolie’s involvement in the upcoming run of dates in a social media post.
After he shared a graphic for Journey’s 50th anniversary on his Facebook page, a fan commented:
“I am SO looking forward to this. Please tell me Gregg Rollie is coming along for the ride! He’s the better keyboard player and a co-founder it only seems right. Timing couldn’t be better either!!!!”
Schon simply replied:
“you’ll be seeing him”.
With Journey already in a mess, band members Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain are exchanging statements online.
