Bassist Nikki Sixx ”sat around” and ”laughed out loud” at the bad reviews Motley Crue received.
Sixx shared a tweet regarding the bad reviews:
“We’ve actually sat around and laughed out loud reading reviews over the last 42 years. We love them. We hope bad reviews never go away. It just proves again that we’re right on target.”
MÖTLEY CRÜE played its first concert with guitarist John 5 Friday night (February 10) at Atlantic City, New Jersey’s 7,000-capacity Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena.

“Vocal backing track sounds great. John 5 is a great guy.”
“John 5 works ’cause he is just being himself and not trying to imitate Mick Mars.”
“John 5 is incredible!! I love what he has to offer and I think he is gonna give the Crue more years of touring”

Hopefully Yoko Ono can replace Vince
John 5 sounds lije Mick because they’re playing recorded tracks live!
Iv love Motley Crue since they put out their first album. I have nothing bad to say about them. I just wished they would come back to Birmingham Alabama. I’m gonna miss Mick but Jonh 5 is a great replacement. Motley wouldn’t b Motley without Vince. They already tried with someone else and he didn’t do to good. Maybe help Vince with his voice. I mean if u got up on stage almost every night signing and screaming u would have a voice either. But I love my crue. They r so hot. Gorgeous. Especially Nikki and Vince. Wished I could meet them. Crue rules. Keep on rocking. But please please come to Birmingham Alabama. Love yall forever!!!!!!! One of ur biggest fans.
Who cares!
Nikki Sixx is a clown! Vince Neil sounds like a washed up frog that someone has to stomp on to get anything thing that replicates anything comparable to sound/noise. John 5 is milestones ahead from the rest of them regarding talent. No big surprise. John 5 carried them just as Mick Marrs has done for decades.
Anything thing indeed
Nikki Sixx is a joke cant even play his bass this isnt motley crue this is complete waste of money if they jus played records an stayed home it be a better concert
Motley made there paper already ,they can afford to laugh at reviews. Until the stacks run out..
Actually YOKO ONO is flying to take over bass playing….NO BIG DEAL!!!!! SEATTLE FRANK CANT PLAY ANYWAYS
Nikki instead of sitting around laughing at the commits you should try to find a way to fix this problem if you want to continue being considered a great band…..it might be to late though….your creeping closer to the IM GETTING TO OLD stage………so freaking sad
